Efforts to keep the Park open (and therefore the property protected) are gathering steam. The Arizona State Parks Board voted on Weds, Feb 17 to delay closure to March 29 to allow time to formalize agreements with local partners to keep the Park open on a limited basis.

To visit the Park, please call 928.779.4395 to make reservations.

How sad - and what a sad way to find out about what could have been a treasure to discover! I had never heard of this state park before this.
